About us

Assisi was set up as a consortium of animal charities in 1993 with the aim of raising funds to help animals in need both in the UK and overseas. Each donation we receive is distributed equally to all five member charities:

• Animal Health Trust
• The Blue Cross
• The Mayhew Animal Home
• SPANA
• World Horse Welfare

Here are just a few of the things your donations will help with:

• £8 will buy vital medicine for a sick animal either in the UK or overseas
• £15 can buy food for abandoned pets waiting for a loving new home
• £25 will help set up a training course on animal care in developing countries
• £50 can help cover the cost of maning cruelty and advice help lines
